Famous trees come and go, just like anything else. They only remain for a brief while before it's time for them to depart. The L' Arbre du Tenere, the world's most isolated tree and a famous landmark in the Sahara, was hit by a drunk truck driver in 1973. Another well-known tree, the Anne Frank tree in Amsterdam, disappeared after being driven away by hurricane-force winds. Fortunately, there are still some unusual trees growing on Earth. 1. Oak trees
It was once thought that a well-known tree in the Sherwood forest, which is located in Nottinghamshire, England, served as shelter for Robin Hood and his gang of outlaws. This oak tree is thought to be between 800 and 1000 years old. This enormous oak tree is known as The Major's Oak since great antiquarian Major Hayman Rookie mentioned it in his book in 1790.
2.Arbol del Tule
The renowned Montezuma Cypress known as Arbol del Tule is located in the middle of Santa Maria del Tule in the Mexican State of Oaxaca. This tree is renowned for having the strongest trunk of any tree in existence. Because of its buttressed trunk and substantial construction, it was once assumed to be a group of numerous trees. DNA analysis revealed that it is actually a single tree that is between 1,200 and 3,000 years old.
3.Cotton Tree
A group of African American slaves who had fought for the British during the War for Independence were released in 1792. Under the cover of a massive tree, today known as the Cotton Tree, the previous group of slaves celebrated their liberation and gave gratitude to God for it. The indigenous inmates of Australia were once imprisoned in a giant hollow tree in Derby's southern region in the 1890s for the purpose of sentencing. The Baobab trees were were part of an ancient tropical forest and were 800 years old. Only one of the iconic Baobab trees survived as the population increased and the great majority of trees were cut down for agricultural purposes.
8.General Sherman
A Giant Sequoia with the name of General Sherman can be found in California's Giant Forest in Sequoia National Park. This particular forest is where most of the enormous trees are, but the Genera Sherman will undoubtedly attract your eye because it is the biggest tree there. The tree is at least 35.5 feet tall from its base and is 2,300–2,700 years old.
9. Tree of Life
The Tree of Life is renowned for being the only green living thing to exist in the scorching and desolate desert of Bahrain. Also thought to be 400–500 years old is this tree. Some residents of the area thought that this tree was the one mentioned in the Garden of Eden.
10.Cedars of God
The Cedars of God is a small forest with about 400 Lebanon Cedar green trees that is situated in the Northern Lebanon mountains. These trees are the last remaining members of the vast forest of Lebanon's Cedars that once covered this area during prehistoric times. Because they were referenced in the Bible over 70 times, these trees are well-known. These were utilised by King Solomon to construct the First Temple in Jerusalem and were also employed as resin by the ancient Egyptians for mummification.
