10 Innovative Transportation Technologies.
They believe that the future is now, which isn't all that far-fetched given how quickly transportation technology has developed. Let's have a look at these most futuristic transportation inventions that have just been introduced or are slated to be introduced, as assembled by 10MostToday.
Martin Jetpack
Bear in mind Spy Kids? Yes, a lot of the contemporary technology employed in the family film appears ridiculous, but evidently NOT THE JETPACK. For the past 30 years, the Martin Jetpack has been "in the making," and it will soon be made public. This fascinating innovation can go at a top speed of 46 mph for up to 30 minutes on a single charge.
SkyTran
Using a magnetic track, SkyTran will "run" (float) 20 feet above the ground in an effort to alleviate Tel Aviv's congested traffic issue. It won't require a driver because it will be guided by a smartphone app and have set stations where it can stop, just like railway transportation. 150 mph is the top speed it is intended to go.
Ryno Micro-Cycle
Unicycle? Yes. Futuristic? Yes. Cool? Hell Yes. The Ryno's maximum range at 10 mph is 15 miles on a full charge. It can support a maximum weight of 260 lbs and weighs 160 lbs. operates on two re-usable SLA batteries.
One Wheel
This one is more for recreation than it is for transportation. Essentially, it is a skateboard with less effort. runs on lithium-ion batteries, and one charge will let it to travel 11 kilometres. Furthermore, it just takes 20 minutes to get it back up and running. It has a top speed of 15 mph and is quite simple to manoeuvre. Because it can track your movements, a simple tilt will do.
Honda U3-X
Yes, there is yet another awesome unicycle. This tiny machine weighs only 10 kg and has an hour's worth of battery life. It has an omniwheel, or HOT drive, and can go at a top speed of 4 km/h.
Hyperloop
Hyperloop is the most advanced mode of transportation.
"At its core, the HyperloopTM system is a tube-based inter- and intra-city passenger and freight transit system. Capsules may move through the tube with almost little friction and safely accelerate to aeroplane speeds thanks to a significant reduction in the amount of air in the tube and magnetic levitation and propulsion. All of this is run on a combination of energy-saving technologies and alternative energy sources.
Urban transportation pods
More and more locations are intending to test this technology, which is already operating in select areas including Masdar City and Heathrow Airport. It has an extremely cutting-edge interface that allows the user to select their location from the touchscreen windshield.
Magneto-Levitation Train
Indeed, a floating railway with a top speed of 374 mph. In Japan, China, and soon South Korea, this "MagLev" technology is already in use and helping many passengers. The concept is quite similar to the SkyTran, however this vehicle can carry more people and travel farther.
Hoverboard by Hendo
Another transportation innovation that is "more of the recreational type" is this one. A levitating board, to put it simply.
Transport via gyroscopic motion
Although there are currently no detailed designs for this futuristic transportation invention, it is not hard to construct and would undoubtedly be incredibly cool.
